I never would have thought my "observation day" would consist of sitting in a 911 for the first time, driving a 911 for the first time, taking an engine out of a 911 for the first time, and more then half way taking a second engine out of a second 911 for the first time.

Do you and your new boss have a good feeling over your first day? _________________ 911SC - 1980 |

Wasn't my first day, I was just checking the place out.
The crowded pics where at the end of the day when they where bringing the cars in from the outside.
These older 911's don't got anything to them. I was actually surprised to see that the 924's are more complex then them. That 1970 911 engine, I could have that pulled out with transmission after a few practices I'd say in about an hour. An H-6 2.0 liter, you can get the same displacement out of a 4 cylinder these days and more HP by turbo charging them. |

That early 6 cylinder engine with the Solex carbs alone is worth more than any of our tricked up street 924s. Power be damned. _________________ 1979 924 NA race car H-Prod SCCA
