Just thought Id post some pics of my 924 new paint scheme this is centari and its gonna get clear coated this next week or the 1 after.. might throw on some pearl in the clear..

Just wanted to thank those few you helped me with there knowledge. Its getting a new inside as well battery in rear seat area as well as the msd
unit new rci racing seats up front and carpet im also re working the heater ill keep ya posted if were still here..

For proper adhesion most automotive paint products need to be clear coated within 24 hours of the painting being done, or else the adhesion isn't very good and will flake off pretty soon.

Well today I applied rubbing compound after wet sanding then polishing wasx and she shined right up dont even need the clear but want to do it any how

make sure you get some prep solvent that removes wax and all that compound that you put on, and make sure you get the entire area you will be clear coating. If not that'll mess with your adhesion too. As for the look you'll get the same look either way, but if done right the clear will last a hell of a lot longer.
