Is it just me, or did Porsche torque the rear nut that holds the rear disks on WAY to damn tight?!?!?! Its a 1982 931. I tryed to use a 10 foot extension (no joke) that I slid over my break over bar & literaly "hung" from the bar jerking the shit out of it & I actually ripped the knuckle out of my break over bar. An air impact doesnt even budge it. The parking break doesnt hold the dick still either. I had to wedge a bolt in the disk vent so it would wedge against the rear caliper while I pulled on the break over bar extension. Anyone have any better ideas?

bigger air impact, industrial sized worked for me.

maybe spray some release all on it and let it sit for however long too, once i got mine off, and put it back on, then took it off again, teh second time it was much easier, threads were tight from all the torque the car has on those i guess.

You might try heating up the nut...Heat usually works to expand the metal which loosens the nut...When I get stuck that is what I do..

just had mine off two weekends back. Used my truck socket breaker bar, and jumped up and down on it. With me at 215 lbs, it broke loose.
