Too cold up here to snow; it's now warmed up to -14F. Though the "feels like" temp is still -28F.
Just another winter in Baudette... _________________ Vaughan Scott

First drive in newly acquired 924S was on Saturday morning in Golden Valley, Minnesota right in the middle of the Snownami. Truck driver didn’t want to come into my neighborhood so we unloaded it right on Hwy 55 by Theodore Wirth Park. Nice first drive down the road and up my alley!
Unloading on traffic-less Hwy 55 Saturday morning.
It’s new home for the winter.
Heading into the den for hibernation.

Too bad the Vikings weren't playing when it dumped 20ft of snow..... or better yet, when Brett was ready to make a pass

Yeah, that's impressive. Booked a flight to New York for New Year's Eve and it's the first time I've ever bought cancellation insurance... feel good about doing so after seeing that lot! Almost hoping I get a few extra days in New York on the insurance company
No snow up here. It's relatively balmy, hovering between 5 and 10 C. I'm sure it's on the way, though... _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Ah, the irony; the first professional football game played in Detroit in some 20 years, and I'm out of town... _________________ Vaughan Scott

Yup, looks like maybe the previous owner cracked a parking curb or something. Going to need lots of little stuff after I get the belt done. Already ordered struts for the hood and rear lid and an owners manual. It was a one owner, at least as far back as on-line records show, but went through an auction and every thing that isn't bolted on gets stolen in those auctions. I have all winter to put together a fix it list and shopping list. Car is pretty clean and only has 36K on it. Probably going to be asking stupid questions here but will search the threads first for answers. I have a Boxster to and got some good info from the 986 Forum when i had issues. |
