Time: 22:22:11Repairing the battery box from the inside got me wondering about the A/C system on my '81. Currently, it is not working (cooling the air) as far as I can tell. Am considering taking it to be diagnosed with an estimate to get it back to new. But if that is too expensive, I'm taking it out anyway.
I was hoping for some help from the list though. When working properly, how well does the A/C system work? If these things don't work well, then I'll just take it out rather than spend money to get it fixed only to blow semi-cool. I do know that the A/C fan is much better than the normal one.
What kinda weight savings can I expect from removing it?
