It took a long time, but I have finally completed the interior. I wish I would have taken some 'before' pictures, as this is quite a big change from what it did look like when I bought it! Torn, non working parts, faded paint all over, and caked with a pool of dust.
I am still going to do a few more modifications. I may get a new Dash Cap. As you can see from a pic or two, the rightside isn't down all the way,and the flimsy thing is cracked at the ends. I also painted the Glove Box crest piece with some acrylics. I have a metal colored crest coming in for the horn pad center as well!

Covers came from Iggee.com (you can get cheaper on eBay)
They are 100% leather and fit perfect! Worth the $80 I spent. _________________ 1979 Porsche 924- Snailshell

Very Nice Indeed. Great work man!
Do you have any plans to replace the tourbus steering wheel?
After seeing pocketscience with his shiny shiny momo...I had to do the same. Feels safer driving now, and I don't punch my knees when I turn anymore.

The iggee.com site says they're synthetic leather...
...it still looks very nice though. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
