I went to meet 2 different 924's in edmonton today. A white one and a oaker one (if that is a color).
I left a note on the white one and talked to the brother, i think of the other one.
Hopefully they see this post!!! _________________ '80 924 M471,Wideband O2, Full coilover susp,23/19 sways,Bilstiens,KLA Strut Brace,Roll Bar,Test Pipe,BBS RS, Willwood BBK

And somewhere out there is one 924 Scott (Speedster) painted in baby-barf yellow. Mand and I warned him but he did it anyway, then sold it to a lady who fell in love with it, yellow and all.
Oh, I believe the color you're referring to is ochre. Used in prehistoric burials, if that has any bearing... _________________ '84 944 - kid blew motor

There is one near my friend's house in Highlands on the north side. Black, been under a car cover for 5 years at least, owned by an old guy, looks to be in nice shape, early car. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

Im in engineering so i dont have to spell good that car is owned by a lady, the wheels are black on the inside and the lip is painted to match and recessed front and rear bumpers, is that the same car? _________________ '80 924 M471,Wideband O2, Full coilover susp,23/19 sways,Bilstiens,KLA Strut Brace,Roll Bar,Test Pipe,BBS RS, Willwood BBK

Just might be, although I seem to recall the rims were black with a polished lip. Brown and tan interior? The car came out looking fine with a very 70s vibe to it. It used to be in Scott's signature. _________________ '84 944 - kid blew motor

Im pretty sure thats the car and someone painted the lip, the lip is a close color match but not exact, which would make sense. It also has the tan and brown interior. The body was so nice, dad thought it must of been repainted but we both were thinking it wasnt a stock color. Actually, I called it "Bahama Yellow". Glad to hear she still has it.

Also used by Australian Aboriginals for various forms of painting, including chewing it up and spitting it out to make negatives like at Red Hand Cave.

Hey, Scott, that car came out looking very nice. Gimme a call sometime!
pocketscience, most of us are in the resurrection business, car-wise, so ochre is fitting, don't you think? _________________ '84 944 - kid blew motor
