OK, Phil, Brockoli, Justin and I tested out a new meet last night. Lots of fun, happens every second Wednesday with a group from Eurodrivers.ca. Very low key and casual. Nice variety of cars. Should be a good regular occasion for the 924 guys to get together.
Location is at the Legislature Grounds, in a parking lot on the West side of the Terrace Building (red box below).
I'll contact these folks before Wednesday June 24:
Brockoli
Doodle
philProject.D.
Power Tryp
Slam
speedster9110
KoenigsTiger (old Beetle)
Justin (Scirroco)
Brockoli's neighbour (928)
Let me know if there is anyone I am forgetting. If anyone knows of other interested folks with interesting Euro cars, feel free to invite them.
Turnout last night, took pictures early, quite a few more showed up:

I say we keep it to a Friday, maybe the first one of the month, that way there are other cars/bikes close by to checkout... _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan

Was nice meeting you Chrenan, I had a good time...any time spent with fellow car people counts as time well spent. You need to take me for a spin one day, I'm planning on going the same suspension route as yours sometime in the future.
As for the gathering, I'm more than interested. Last Friday of every month sounds good, I'll be there every time. Once Brock gets his car on the road we could follow up with a nice cruise around the university area and the river valley. There's a cool parkade just off the science ward at the UofA and Saskatchewan Drive that would make for some great photos during the sunset...whole Edmonton skyline/panorama's visible from the top level. _________________ 924 NA - December/'78 - 5-speed snailshell |

Sounds like a great idea…sunset is the right time for pictures; put some extra elbow grease into the polishing to catch the light/reflection. Sounds like a great idea! Good luck guys.

progress is slow.... just put carly's 17'' OZ Racing ultraleggera gold on her subie, lol
phil - are you talking about winsdor car park, its in the engineering corner of campus, guess how I know
Those pics were pre-suspension mods. Chrenan and I have pretty much the same suspension pieces, I think the only difference is my front sway bar is 23mm. And his alignment is slightly different. And new bushings, but im working on that....
Last friday of every month rain or snow sounds good to me!!!! _________________ '80 924 M471,Wideband O2, Full coilover susp,23/19 sways,Bilstiens,KLA Strut Brace,Roll Bar,Test Pipe,BBS RS, Willwood BBK

OK, I'll be out of town on the 29th and so will Brock. So lets fix the date as the first Friday of the month throughout the summer.
That puts our first Friday evening meet on June 5. We'll meet at 8:00 pm at the Tim Hortons on Gateway Boulevard just south of Whyte Ave. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan
