Check the plastic oil tube elbow on the cam. Pull the cover to get at it. It may have split or shattered. Second make sure your sender is operating correctly, clean all the wires and check for a good ground, the same on the gauge. The best thing is to add a mechanical gauge either on engine (the cool thing to do) or in car. This will give you an accurate reading 99% of the time, where the elctrical is prone to alot of gremlins. Let me know what you find. Two questions though, what was the presure at first start compared to last year, and could the oil be contaminated with gas. (thined out)

I'm with Bob. What is the initial oil pressure before it drops to zero?

John
