Hey guys, i got a 1977 924 here that i might buy for parts, I offered her $150 for it...its real beat up no good interior, and the roof is dented in...but it has a complete motor and I have been told it did run...and has been sitting for awhile. Do you guys think i could get it for less? Or am i getting a deal? Thanks

Anything is a deal if it is less than you are willing to pay.

I'd buy it with no hesitation, as long as it's legit. It's about half of we get for delivering a wreck to the wreckers here.

Well thats what I was thinking, I work for a guy that does metal scraping and I have a lot of experience of what to scrap and what not to... I think that if i took off the aluminum wheels, the two aluminum bumpers, aluminum air intake, and aluminum valvecover, I could easily have $200. I could still throw in the wiper motor, the altenator, Catilitic converter, and the radiator. Then I can have the whole car crushed for an aditional $50. I really do not want to crush a 924...but the car is in poor shape already.
