I think I would remember that car. PORSCHEV has a yellow souped up beast, perhaps you're thinking of him? |

Cool burnout but it must suck in the rain - all that water soaking your engine...
PS that ain't no 924 it's some Frankenstein creation!
I really really liked those brakes on the front - but he has the four bolt setup so I'm assuming they're the stock system - if that's right, so where did he get the red calipre set for the front? Was that a Porsche piece or some aftermarket? _________________ 1980 924 turbo, MSD, Meth. Inj, otherwise stock. |

| Beautiful car, but I were the one who built it I would not be spending time wasting tires to impress everybody. |

A solid rear axle? WTF? I guess he managed to turn a porsche into a mustang.

Doesn't seem like its very much 924 anymore? I'd much rather see a totally tricked out 2-liter turboed or SCed lump putting out 250hp rather than that beast. _________________ 1981 931 GT (CGT Intercooled)

Guys,
I've got to play tle devil's advocate here. While this car isn't what I would spend my money on, I can appreciate it. It looks like a well executed conversion, that I'm sure took quite a bit of money, and boat-loads of time and expertise to finish. Some of you guys throwing barbs need to chill, and realize that this wasn't meant to please you, it was created to please the owner.
Fact of the matter is, on anything other than a tight mountain road or autocross course, this car could blast down the straights, idle around the corners, and still beat a 924. Maybe this was a slight exaggeration... maybe... but you get the point.
I think one should be careful when evoking the, "It's not even a real Porsche anymore," platitude. Remember, that is exactly what the Porsche snobs say about our cars.
Cheers, Brian |
