If I can coordinate it with a work trip then I'm up for it!

I`ll be in that too.
Be a nice drive.

Dont think any of us would have much to swap but the meet would be good anyway. We could make a weekend out of it and perhaps do a sunday drive to Montville , Springbrook or another FUN spot.

Give us enough warningand I might be able to swing a trip over to Brisbane to see the in-laws - as long as it' s not in your summer - my wife finds Brisbane too hot .

unfortunately I won't be able to bring the Porsche so I'd probably tag along on a drive in my nephews Maloo R8 ute (for those not in Aussie or NZ look here to see what a Maloo is http://editorial.carsales.com.au/car-review/2548856.aspx)

This is how us aussies and kiwis like our utes!. Something like this John? The holden maloo ute.. as it says maloo is aboriginal for THUNDER mmm i wonder why..

P.s I think John and his nephew should take up the rear and drive with a tarpaulin over the holden, cant have his 255 kw 0 to 100 in 5.6 second monster embarrasing our humble porsches!

Cool! Bring the ute, we can just load it up with CASES of BEER and a big Bbq and even some tools to give the 924s a chance in the straights. Ha, what straights! Did the natural bridge, springbrook, nerang trip last year. Met some guys on nice big sports bikes that could only get up to 190 between nerang and springbrook.

So springbrook it is eh?

Been on those roads in my brother-in- laws BMW 535 very nice roads and we continued down to Tumblegum for a late lunch and been then back via Surfers to pick up my wife and daughter who had spent the day at wet-n- wild.

The maloo is a black one and the model before think it's aVY? definitely got a fair bit of grunt, I just picked up an two year Holden Adventra LX8 with 250 kw and the Maloo's slightly lighter weight makes it feel faster, and the old GT replica (with about 155kw) feels positively slow compared to both of them, but is more fun to drive
