I got my hands on a 2 post hoist (with the 4 swing arms) from work. It's the one with the chains running along the bottom and the open top. Only thing is, I'd love to keep it but don't have a place to put it. I looked at Bargain Finder, but there is nothing in there to compare it to. I don't know the age, but everything works.
How much would something like that go for?

Not familiar with the type you describe, but considering you can get a china-made 2-poster for USD$1500, and a good US-made 2-poster for USD$2000, that might give you an idea of the ceiling. How old is it? How many hours of operation logged? All safety equipment intact? _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

| I know it works fine and the safety stuff is good, but I have to check what age. Probably much less than $1000 then, I guess? |

I'm a shop owner and something like that would go for about $800 around here.

Cool, thanks. For some reason I always thought they were like 7-10 grand new. I guess when you consider the cost of having to raise the roof of your garage, they are. |

I wish! What temperatures do you have? It's -20C outside now, and will stay like that for a couple of days. It's snowing, too, lol. |

Hey JB, if you still have the hoist hanging around in the summer, I may be interested in it for my new garage. I imagine it will sell long before that. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

I agree. . .coolest setup I ever saw was a come-along that rolled on pulleys on an overhead track, bolted to the rafters of my buddy's gargage. _________________ Toofah King Bad
