...Seriously... a switch with a relay that cuts power to the fuel pump does the trick.

Absolutely it does, but you don't get a certificate (which the insurance company insist on!) to confirm that its fitted...

Actually its a fair amount of jobs for the boys, as they actually didn't want to recognise my certificate as its not been filled out correctly, they then wanted me to get the device checked (at my own cost) even though the certificate is supposed to be insurance approved. So until I do that, they aren't covering it for theft anyway. BUt that's no problem, cos no-one can nick it as it has an insurance approved immob on it! (slightly better than a switch as it self arms, so you can't forget to switch it!)

I use the factory fitted alarm system you know, the extra lock on the rear wing

My only protection is a garage door, it does have a remote though.

My getrag tranny is a great anti theft device! Seroiusly I have one of those barrel key factory porsche alarm/immobilizer and it still works flawlessly.

I should be so lucky as to have my P-car stolen...

Everyone around here knows whose cars they are and if the cops see someone other than us driving them they're pulled over right away.

The appearance of the 924 is enough to deter any attempt at theft. Between the rust and the falling exhaust are enough.

I'd probably make more off the insurance if they stole the car anyways.

Seriously though, the 924 key opens the door to my 944... I'd advise everyone to change their locks just in case.
