does anyone know how to remove the heater core in a car with factory AC?
i have a late 79 if that helps, thanx _________________ late 1979 porche 924, red 2.0l NA 5speed snailshell
Plans: Restore exterior, revitalize interior, install killer sound system, run engine in stock form and have fun.(+ a short throw shifter if i can find one) |

pull the dash.
my haynes says that its possible without the dash out, but it certainly isn't on the '78, cause the heater flange is bolted to the core and goes through the firewall.
so basically, pull the dash, undo the 2 hoses on the engine side of the firewall (carefully so as not to break the piece of shit plastic heater flange), drop out the whole heater box, and then the core simply slips out the side
