| I believe its 4 gallons, but I could be wrong. Anyone know the correct number for this? Another thing, is the gas tank 17 or 19 gallons? |

Tank capacity was discussed here.
Dunno when the light comes on but the tank on an '81 Turbo is 75 litres (~20 U.S. gallons) according to the factory manual (dunno if it's the same in an S?) with a 9 litre reserve (2-and-a-bit U.S. gallons). But I know the light comes on before it hits reserve because just today I had the fuel light come on and when I filled up it took 50 litres on the button. Theoretically, that means there's 34 litres left.
By the way, I did 472 kliks on that tank so my consumption was 9.44 litres per 100km... is it trying to tell me something _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

| If I fill mine up as soon as the light comes on, it always takes 14 US gallons to refill. |
