thanks for all the advice. today i will clean all the terminals on the alt and starter as well as to try and tackel rewireing the wires to them. I will post back later today to tell you if it works

Hi I have a 1977 924 and I have a problem. the car turns on and runs fine but as soon as i press the throttle the engine quits and turns off. I was wondering if anyone has a clue whats wrong with it.
