the dizzy clamp was probly put there wrong by the p.o. its an easy fix..
kind of.



What is a Dizzy clamp? Also is this easy fix rotating the bolts to the correct place like smothie suggested?

I went after them today after using some chem strip with a random orbit sander. they cleaned up rather well.

The plug wires out the top of my distributor rub the underside of my hood. I was wondering what might cause this. I’m not sure if this is due to an after market distributor from the P/O or not.

I have a 1982 924 as well. When i was dirivng my car home from the PO i lost this belt and nearly lost the car. Make sure you take care of this problem.

The sound is real mechanical sounding. I have and old dodge diplomat with 260,000 that has a good nock. Sounds nothing like it.

I have an 82 924 that has a good knock. My dad seems to think its the valves. I recall reading somewhere that the cam could make this noise. What should i do to diagnose the problem?
