Bearings are standard size as far as i know and i’ve heard of people using off the shelf bearings in their rebuilds.
The parts that are tricky to find are the plastic bushings that go in the center ... |

Well something is way off for sure, and the 2 seconds is maybe like 1 second but still you get the point.
I set the timing static so with all the marks on flywheel, distributor and camgear lined up ... |

You probably need to start with the fuel pressure tests to ensure fueling is correct.
Check the timing, has the distributor slipped? |

Its a 1984 MY, build date is October 1983. It has one hot start solenoid.
System is:
Fuel tank - pump - accumulator - filter - metering head -
injectors

My cold idle has improved after supercharging, you could get a bolt on kit from the924.com and see if the idle is better
Unfortunately the Super Charger hasnt fixed my ... |
