Is it possible for a 944S2 head or 968 head to fit on a 924 engine in order to create more power and airflow characteristics? |

The bore is 106mm on the s2 and on the 924 is is i believe 86mm(not positive but pretty sure). Anyway it is a big difference. Even if you could, how would u do the timing belt? The s2 uses a high tension timing belt and has to be exact(interference engine). I assume you would have to keep it interference in order to get a high enough CR. The actual engine block of the 944 s2 is also much much bigger. The dohc with the 16 valves(or 16ventiler as it says on the side of the car) would be sweet on a 924 though. _________________ 90 944 S2
