|
|
Ive just bought the complete suspention from a 83 944 but i was not able to snag the master
My 1979 924 has the diagonal system with the small master
Would i be able to just slap the brakes on with the current master and plumbing or is a 944 master a must? _________________ 1979 924 n/a dolemite and verry leaky

Yes, you can keep your brake line routing, as the routing requirements follow the master cylinder type.
Just slap the brakes on, and you'll be fine. I'm still running the original master in mine. _________________ 78 924 NA

Agree. If you use the 944 master and booster it requires rerouting of all brake lines and then the larger booster interferes with the throttle cable routing. _________________ Mike

My '79 NA came with five lug, four wheel discs and had the small brake booster. Works just fine on the race track. _________________ 1979 924 NA race car
