I'm trying to track down an electrical gremlin that started after a full paint job. I believe I have a short to ground. On the driver's side (LHD) the door contact had a brown wire attached which is a ground and also this gray wire. This gray wire is carrying 12V and I don't believe it should be connected to the switch because when the door opens the switch goes to ground, but it will also pass through the 12V. When I track down the wire it goes to the relay on the top of the fuse panel. It's the wire on the 3rd hole back on the right side of the relay and is connected to the red wire in the same hole. Definitely looks factory. It's the second from the right. It appears this might be for the seat belt buzzer. I don't see anywhere for this wire to connect.

Thanks!
