Yeah, they do that; I was shocked when mine did the same!
My EFI 931 is now so reliable my wife loves to drive it without me!!! Fun to drive, easy to start, drives reminiscent of (though obviously not the same as) her 924 NA racecar... only reliable and always starts and runs perfectly! LOL _________________ Vaughan Scott

Mine's a champ on cold starts - I'm really not sure how or even if it could be improved on. Hot starts are another story: in the half hour to an hour window, it can take up to thirty seconds of cranking. I've heard it's from fuel vaporizing in the injector lines, and I'm tempted to try wiring the cold start injector to a momentary switch on the dash, like others here have. Anyway, hold on to the FD and WUR from that 931 - could just be you've got one of the good ones! _________________ 1980 931 diamond in the rough |

The first EFI kit installation is done, meaning the car started and drives.
This is a 76 car, quite a bit different from the one i developed the kit on so there were some hickups here and there, but i have learned a lot from that.
My 931 EFI installation is also complete, and that one went smoothly as it is a late car.
Anyway, below is the EFI kit on a table, thanks to Frank for providing the picture.

Great job on the video Morghen. I really appreciate your attention to the details and the effort to complete this conversion kit in a way that can benefit so many of us. |
