Pulled the engine. cleaning up some major oil leaks (Rear seal and oil pan gasket and engine bay) Thought I should change the clutch parts before reinstalling the engine. The pressure plate is in good shape and becuase of cost, would like to replace the throwout bearing and disk only. Trying to find a lower cost disk replacement. I found a list that shows comparable 8.5" disks with 24 tooth spline fitments, but I am worried about the height of the disk. The clutch disk that I removed, had a extra plate about a 1/4 inch high with 3 small springs. Would a disk from an Audi 100, VW Transporter or Vanagon clutch disk work as long as the it was 8.5" and had 24 tooth spline??

Thanks
