I have a set of 30 series rear coil overs....Ive rear are only for Late 944... Not sure why?

Can anyone clarify why they wouldnt fit?

I put them next to a set of early Koni Sports and don't see anything that coudlnt be made to work, just some spacers for the bottom mounting?

Ok well for anyone wanting to do rear coil overs
heres some info

using Koni 30 series, which can be had for less than 200 each.

so there is a company that makes sleeves that fit 2.25" coil springs (because the sleeves from koni/paragon only fit 2.5") (yes they fit a 50mm/2" body)

Paragon sells a complete kit (for late cars only) but you don't need the special Racers Edge lower bolt for the aluminum arms

now the Koni are a 1/2" Eye, but paragon provides spacers that make it 12mm and they fit the upper mount the same both 924/44-late 944.
but at the bottom I will be opening the hole in the arm to 1/2" and using spacers that are 1/2" wide to add strenght and support

along with a 1/2" grade 10.9 bolt

Looking at this other thread http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=43144&sid=ebd83ffdcab02f1753b3630e669eddfd (my way is MUCH easier, but it shows how a 2.25" coil fits) but with the koni and the parts I've shown, it should bolt right in!
