Front undertray Question

So all the louvers on the undertray open to the back but one. My first thought was it just got bent, but it is such a tidy bend it almost looks like it should be that way. Front left in picture. Know it is probably not a huge deal,but thought I would ask.

No, they all are one way, evacuating to the rear.

That is a TSB procedure intended to extend the life of the hot side motor mount. A dealer likely did that back in the day.

thats why i like the 931 hood so much, after a long drive at speed the motor mount is actually cold to the touch! i also made a effective heat shield out of a 70's oregon license plate.

Ah, my '79 is steel.
I put it back on the race car and it lowered my temps a bit but didn't make 20 extra HP or knock two seconds off my lap times. Maybe the aluminum one will.
