Does anyone know the type of Plastic used to produce this windshield washer fluid container. I have some leaks in mine and I need to plastic weld the leak but I need the correct plastic type to get the correct welding rod. Thanks

There is usually a stamp somewhere on plastic stuff saying things like PP or PE.
Maybe there is somewhere on the container where you can scavenge some material?

Thanks for your answer. I have given the tank a through look over and it does not have that coding marked on it. I am thinking since this was made back in 1981, recycling and the need for the mark had not yet occurred.
