Hey All:

Looking to rebuild my 1980 924 NA ignition distributor and not having any luck finding anyone. The Bosch part number is 477905205A.

Anyone know where I can send it to get it rebuilt ??

Thanks in advance

So I contacted Barry https://distributorlab.com/. He only works on Boash and specifically older 356 & 911's

He said he can't do it and parts to find for that model distributor and to be very careful who I give it to rebuild.
Part no- 0237003018, Bosch Number - 477905205A.

With that said I am looking for some reputable guidance from the 924.org family.

Thoughts ?

What year is your 924? I looked for the same service, ended just buying the pickup and then had to rewire the plug.

I have a thread about some of it with links

Thanks for the suggestion but installing a new pickup didn't solve the problem. I also bought the chinese dist on eBay and found out the hard way although they said it would work and fit it didn't.

Still looking for a shop to rebuild the distr and yes the car is a 1980 which seems to be a rare one.

Still searching..
