I can’t believe it’s been over 10 years since I posted something on this forum. I’v been a 924 owner since 1994, and was active on the board in the early days. I have been rebuilding the 924 for the last year, new Bilstein shocks, suspension bushings, head gasket......
This new issue is very odd. When I have the air meter plate connection plugged in, the fuel pump does not work. When I disconnect the connection, fuel pump runs and the car starts. I’m thinking either the cold start injector, auxiliary air valve or warmup regulator is grounding and causing the fuel pump relay not to work. Anyone else has run across this issue?

This is what I found out when investigating my fuel pump relay.

Not sure what year or type your car is, but if it's a '78 NA, then the switch inside the air metering plate might be failed and always closed.
