My power booster needs replacement cant seam to find one . I was wondering if this car used a 944 booster.
1980 924 all disc brakes 5 lug wheels. |

Measure your booster diameter. The 944 is a 9" dia, many of the 924 are 7". The 944 booster assembly is longer also(with the fire wall spacer) protrudes from the firewall further. I have a 9" in the track car and had to relocate the throttle cable due to interference with the larger booster. _________________ Mike

I just replaced mine last year or the year before that. It was difficult to find. I eventually bought one from Rockauto that was a remanufactured unit. It works nicely however when they reassembled the booster they slightly rotated the two halves from the proper orientation.
