My car needs a carpet kit. I've found a number of kits but I haven't found anyone that offers the original beige color.

I've ordered samples from World Upholstery and Trim. The kits they offer ($900) are available in domestic nylon cut pile. I'm thinking about Brown, Caramel or Biscuit.
https://www.worlduph.com/samples/800table.htm#*

I contacted Werk924.com in Germany. They offer black, brown and red.
Found this pic on FB:

Looks amazing but the price and shipping costs are eye-popping. If I spend that much money...I think I'd buy one of new dashboards instead.

I see that Auto Atlanta has a 924 carpet kit for $620. They offer black, brown, caramel and maroon http://www.autoatlanta.com/Porsche-Complete-Molded-Carpet-Kit-924-944-Parts-PN-RWU5547.html

More options:

Stockinteriors.com
https://www.stockinteriors.com/AutoCarpet.asp?Itemid=3922&ModelId=396
(Read some reviews on Rennlist.com; complaints about quality)

It doesn't appear that Classic 9 Leather Shop offers a kit, I thought they did at one time.
http://www.classic9leathershop.com/

Here's a kit from the UK, looks like they will ship to the USA. Nice selection of colors.
https://www.carcarpets.co.uk/porsche-924-339-c.asp

I see carpet sets on Ebay, but I'm skeptical.

Any other options? Any advice/recent experience with carpet kits?

Thanks.

Werk924 is the best quality you can get as far as I’ve seen different products here in Europe.
If you want the new dash for 924, you may want to know there is a company in Poland that is manufacturing them, and others are just reselling.
Kind of unofficial info, but if you reach them, you should get a quote.

Pink Panther....lol.

The brown ones look nice.

I received the carpet samples from World Upholstery. The "caramel" color actually might work and the texture of the carpet isn't bad. I can post a picture but the color in person looks much different to what I see on my monitor...though my ipad seems closer.

How much does a black/brown dash for 924 cost?
From what I noticed the dash seems to be made of fiberglass.
It will not be soft to the touch and may rattles a bit.

Other than that it looks good.

I didn't track down this other source (http://rendes.com.pl/) beyond what I found on Facebook.

Thomas at werk924 told me:

A dash for the US is 1.399,- € include shipping.

There are several pictures on their FB page; they look very nice.

I'm in the process of recovering my seats...I think carpets will be next...and at some point one of his dashboards.

Any idea of a price from Rendes? I did not see anything on their website. A fibreglass shell has to be waaay superior to the original cardboard/foam/vinyl jobbie. Would have to look sensational covered in soft leather/double stitching blah, blah blah.

If I understood correctly the price is:
Kokpit Nowy 2000 pln

I'm not very clear - he speaks only in Polish. (email or whatsapp).

I've been emailing with Thomas at werk924.com about a replacement dashboard...I'm close to ordering one.

I also requested a quote from Just Dashes to refinish an early 944 dashboard...my thought was to buy a core dashboard to send to them (there's one on Ebay for $250, see https://www.ebay.com/itm/PORSCHE-944-DASH-BOARD-Brown-83-84-85/254826433952?hash=item3b54d6cda0:g:s8kAAOSw9S5f9KG-).

Anyway...here's quote:

Quote:
"Our current lead time is approximately 4 months from the time we receive your parts.

Here is an approximate cost of your restoration:
$1,800 Dash

$200-300 Color Match & Painting Fee
*No extra charge for black
+ Shipping"
