I removed my AAR to check a hard starting issue, my AAR is stuck closed, even after visiting the freezer for about 10 minutes. On the search for one of those. But while I was in there I noticed this small piece of hose off the back of the vacuum advance unit of the dizzy. Where should it go? looks like it broke off. Its a side shot, but the cloth braided hose stops where it is in the pic.
Pic of my AAR for fun.

Is that a vacuum retard line? I'm trying to look at parts pictures and they don't seem to have it. _________________ 1981 Weissach Edition #179 |

I found it, it helps having a stream of consciousness on this board.
My plastic hose was poking down behind stuff. Still need an extension because the braided part is not long enough.
You can see the white plastic hose in the back
