You think gazs would be a good upgrade compared to ta technix coilovers front and bilstein strut in back, just thinking of it because gazs would be easier to get pass inspection

Is TUV relevant to Finland?

Aren't you allowed to change suspension?

The 944 uses a different mount both to the suspension arms and to the body.

Check the PET for exploded view pictures/drawings and part numbers.

Look thru the "How to" section. Years ago I did a how to on it. It requires changing to the 944 steel control arm, they are inexpensive over here, about $25.

If it has the brackets welded to the TB carrier it will bolt on. New bushings probably required. I had to make new mounting plates for the front and it was a photobucket picture which may not show up. If you need it I could email it to you.

They don't make the 924 control arms with the sway bar mount out front anymore. The 944 arms have the holes in the arm for the 944 sway bar bushing clamp and bushing. Look at a 924S/early 944 parts diagram.

Can i just swap the control arm mount from the 924 sway bar into 944s swaybar?

^Those won't fit.

You need the common VW Golf Mk1 part (McPherson suspension)
Make sure it includes holes to connect the sway bar.

The other parts you'll need shown hereā€¦
