I use grease instead of bread and a clutch alignment tool. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

I ordered some spare parts (gaskets) for exhaust. Order Date: 26 February 2019
The same day I ordered from 2 places: Rose pasion (France) and vw heritage (UK).
The packege from Rose pasion was in Bucharest on 1 March 2019 .
The packege from vw heritage left the spare parts store yesterday (04 March 2019).
Today the Crankshaft oil Seal gasket came. I ordered stainless steel screws and nuts. For turbo and wastegate copper nuts. I'm still waiting for the exhaust supports from the galvanizing workshop. I mounted the bearing on the flywheel and the pressure plate bearing.

The flywheel is lighter by about 2 kg.
Thread length is smaller now also.

Nice, will probably be more responsive. Did you do anything about the friction surface? _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

Was done on mine during rebuild. No noticeable affect from the driving seat but I’m sure there’s a positive benefit _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

Originally I wanted to plan it, but I quit in the absence of information. (I'm not clear if it was okay or not).
It appears that the surface was severely abused in the past but the gear change was very smooth before.
I leave the friction surface as it is. _________________ 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo (931) diamond silver metallic/helios blue metallic

Today I put the pressure plate back on and the screws did not come out in the back of flywheel.
Thread length might not be affected at all by lighting. _________________ 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo (931) diamond silver metallic/helios blue metallic

After more then 1 month tthe cluch is ready. The exhaust pipe has new gaskets and new screws.
I have some conclusions:
1. It is not a simple repair (DIY).
2. Ideal is to have engine support and tools for clutch alignment.
(To align the clutch housing with the torque tube - engine suport is necessary).
3. Many screws are in difficult positions.

Finally, it really is a tough job. Took me 2 full days to do the clutch. A royal pain in the ass to do. Absolutely DIY, but prepare for it to take some time.
Ive seen that clamp in the TBs i think, but ive never seen it on a car! _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

The braket seems to be geniune part. I just make it pretty (sandblast ang galvanized yellow). The upper part is very complicated (I am sure it is not manufactured). _________________ 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo (931) diamond silver metallic/helios blue metallic

If it's so rare I'll get more pictures.
I'm curious if someone knows what braket is missing. (Another braket is missing in the area - I saw it on the diagram).
It can be manufactured easily - but I decided to leave it like that.
