I actually have a set of retractable rear belts, going to see how they mount.

Link to dizzy broken hose thread: http://924board.org/viewtopic.php?p=398723#398723
I noticed this small piece of hose off the back of the vacuum advance unit of the dizzy. Where should it go? looks like it broke off. Its a side shot, but the cloth braided hose stops where it is in the pic.

Doing some slow cranking troubleshooting. Had the cold start injector rebuilt, went from 15/20 to 20/20 according to them.

Boils down to I think my battery is losing charge. I can crank the car cold with jumper cables like a normal car. No cables, it turns over for about 10 seconds. Kept thinking it was a fuel issue as I assumed the battery to be good.

No parasitic drain, see pic. I used the charger alligator clips, (no charger connected) also tested multiple times and ways to make sure. But battery loses voltage.

Charged the battery last night, waited 5 minutes is measure 12.66v at 7pm. Just checked it at 11:30am and 12.32v. The negative lead was left disconnected.

That's a bad battery right?

Hi. New user, and new to 924s, so there's tons I don't know, but I do have a Weissach. I've just been spending a lot of time in the driver's footwell. That relay clips to the fresh air blower. I can't figure out which relay it is. Should be pretty easy to ID with the fat red/blue wire, but I'm not finding it. I think it must be the air conditioner relay or the cooling fan relay. I can send a couple of pics of what mine looks like if you let me into the secret of posting them.

Upload your pics to a pic hosting site...this one is free: https://imgur.com/

Then provide a link to the picture...and put tags on either end.

Excellent, thanks. I did see the sticky on the topic, but I was still digesting what it meant practically. Your one sentence is more clear than that paragraph.

Update.

So my battery was bad, got a new one. That is good.

Still had hard start issue, retraced my steps. The stinking wire to the cold start injector had worked loose out of the harness! Pushed that sucker in and guess what? Cranks like it should!

Now I have the Accumulator problem, about an hour after a drive it is a little hard to start. Overnight is no issue, cranked 4 days in a row, short off/on is no issue. Just an issue with about an hour delay.

Some pics.

Got the headlights working, needed the dash switch

Faded and dirty interior

Took off the dash cap Slowly picking off the silicone

The CSV wire! That rubber boot is toast.

Wheels before cleaning, they are still not great. Will need to have them refinished eventually. Need tires more.

Ordered a couple of these rubber bonded mounts from Einmalig
