Anybody have a 924S / 944 throttle cable on hand that could measure it against a 931 cable ? Just wondering if it is modifiable or is that a no-go for a particular reason...

Yep, I modified an early 944 cable to work with my car. Cut the 944 inner cable and outer sheath to suit and fit a new barrel at the end. Simple

Thank you Sir, exactly what I wanted to hear. Just didn't want to spend the dough to buy the 944 part only to find out it would not work.

Just thought, this was a RHD version. Assume the LHD 944 cable is longer than the 931?
