No Reserve: 1978 Porsche 924
CURRENT BID: $4,650 SOLD on: 02 Aug 2017

I was the winner of this auction...

Next week, I'll fly up and drive it 560 miles home. Hey, what could possibly go wrong?

I previously had an '85 911 Carrera, but this will be my first water-cooled Porsche. Always loved the simplicity of the first gen 924 styling, and brown is such a great 1970's color...

I'm not sure but I may have owned that car years ago. Sure looks like the MAACO paint job that I had done. If not, it is its twin.

2 pristine and all original 924 turbo S2 have sold in the last month in Ontario for $9,000 and $10,000 on Kijiji (Canadian equivalent to Craiglist).

I love this car.
If those GTS body parts are original Porsche parts, it should see some serious money.

I seem to remember this car was featured in Panorama some time in the last couple of years.

Appears to be the same car that didn't meet reserve on eBay mentioned earlier in this thread.

No sure in which magazine, but yes it was covered few years ago. If I remember correctly, it was purchased new from the dealer like this, as a special order and build by the dealer.
