What do you think of this shocks?
Can be considered semi-sport dampers for road and trackday?

Nobody can send me some informations about this dampers? I'm evaluating replace shocks and this sachs seems a good compromise. My first choice are bilsten but this solution is cheaper.
Thanks _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro

Aren't those sachs just replacement for original damper, nothing extra sporty? _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

I found this kit in eBay:

It seems a good price. _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro

You might also check to see what GAZ has to offer although for long term reliability the Bilsteins might be best. _________________ Mike

These are the wrong ones, the add states that the set consists out of 34-000403 and 24-001618. However, you need 34-000403 and 34-001042.
Have a look here for more info

Sorry I gave you the wrong numbers, you need
Front: 34-001042
Rear: 24-001618
34-000403 is for a beetle. The 924 and beetle share the same struts but there is vast difference in weight they have to carry. For this reason the 924 has a different rating for the insert. |

The compression and rebound specs are different between the two inserts. I am by no means an expert on this, but the consensus between the experts are that 34-000403 is not the correct option.
Page 43 in this manual also mentions both options, so I guess as long as you buy the set as stated in the manual you should be okay.
I think the 34-001042 is the sportier insert. |
