|
Does anyone have a method or suggestion as to how to clean the flywheel around the timing marks? Mine are kinda rusty and are very hard to see. The flywheel window is almost impossible to reach from the engine compartment. I have been trying to set the timing but it seems to be impossible to get a good view. I may have to go to the harmonic balancer if I can get a good reference point on the front of the engine. However from what I can see the flywheel marks are more definitive. I do have a good adjustable timing light that might work with the Harmonic Balancer.
Thanks, |

I used a scriber to clean the marks and (missus isnt watching) used some nail polish to put a permanent line on there. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA
