Hi all,
Currently working on swapping an Audi V8 into my 82 924.
It's going a bit slow, but has been fun. As of now I'm building engine mounts, oil pan and the exhaust manifolds.
Using a Audi V6 transmission spacer, welded to a 931 bell housing, 944 torque tube, and transaxle. removed Broken Image links.

When you copy a link from Photobucket, choose the "direct link" and paste that inside IMG codes. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Hey friends, Sorry I have not been able to update anything, Being in the Navy takes time away from working on my swap. I will be having some good time off in December. So I will be posting up new updates then. |

Update, Using a stage four 6 puk clutch disk from a Mazda RX8 with the Audi 2.7L Turbo Dual mass flywheel and Pressure plate. The Mazda Disc has the same size splines and shaft size as the 944, and only cost $40 to $60 for the Disc, versus $125 to $300. Will be using a Spec Push style throw out bearing. Lindsey Racing has the whole set up I will be purchasing. Measured everything out and it will fit nicely in the 931 Bellhousing I am using. Will post of pictures of it all set up this December. |
