|

I have new injectors in my 931, but they give different amount of fuel.
I changed them but the poblems stays. So I guess the problem is in my metering head.
Had anybody equalized injector fuel delivery on the metering head ? _________________ 937 trackday car

Probably the filters are clogged, you dont do anything else than use the rebuild kit. _________________ https://www.the924.com |

I have hadd this in my ebay list for a couple of months.
But I have been unable to find a rebuild guide that I am happy with. My biggest worry is that once you take the fuel distributor appart you will change the sysyem pressure? |

click on: rebuilding k jet adjustable alloy fd's
May have to save as .pdf or change the file to .pdf in properties..
Lot of other great CIS resources at that site also..
System pressure is very easy to adjust..
I have not personally tore into a FD yet to rebuild, or attempted to adjust injector balancing..
This guide also touches on those adjustment screws..
Interesting pic I found..
Looks like they are putting syringes on the injector ports as a way of testing flow balance, hmm...
It seems to me that cis information came to be before the information age so it wasn't naturally put on the internets.. And that the few who continue the trade of cis specialty work somewhat guard their secrets.. _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified |

Yeah, maybe the way to balance flow, set for equal at full-strength... may also be able to influence the overall amount of output available, by raising the ultimate max pressure? _________________ Vaughan Scott

Does the 924 engine really use all that flow that any difference between the dizzy ports brings an imbalance in the fuel delivery? _________________ https://www.the924.com |
