Anyone tried to install supercharger with belt on 924 na instead of turbo conversion?
It's possibile to install it in place of air conditioned and work is a lot easy and cheaper of turbo , but performances?

This engine is conversion of 924 engine to engine of years 90
But for reply to my answer, a simply supercharger on 924 can improve performances?

He runs newer technology than 90s.

But to answer your question, yes...a simple compressor can be added...you just have to start doing something

Supercharger came from an Aston Martin or similar from memory.

Late 90s and early 00s Mercedes have superchargers with a magnetic clutch that can be slipped on and off if you want them or not.
That requires a whole control system tho.
So if I were to make a simple supercharged 924 I would make an on/off switch on a Mercedes sourced supercharger and use a 931 WUR.
I would only boost 0.3 bar and i'd use no intercooler.
Bet that would be a fun car to drive

I there are no problems I could install supercharger always actived, but I read that on high rotation supercharger can reduce performances, really?

If the supercharger is too small...but thats not the case with such a small slow breathing engine like the 924 2L.

I think the mechanical fuel injection system (CIS) on our cars would be a problem for this as it is part of the air intake system.

Probably an EFI conversion first would simplify the task and ensure better results as you would gain experience from tuning and fuel system on the car.

I know I posted this here before but you can get self oiled MR2 AW11 superchargers for dirt cheap saving you the trouble of drilling oil feed in your oil pan. If you don't care about AC, the SC unit from the MR2 is not much bigger/heavier. All you would need is a custom braket to hold it in the old AC location and oyu would use the AC belt ribs on the crank pulley.

If I would like try with cis, supercharger must aspirate air from cis plate and push into intake manifold? And I have to reduce advance for avoid detonation ?
Then I think installation is simply, but I have to make oil into supercharger? And for limit air pressure without elettrics systems?
