Anyone know the maximum thickness of wheel spacers for front and rear with standard 14'' wheels?

My 83NA came with 24mm spacers(per wheel) for the rears from the factory and no spacers for the fronts.

Here is the TB from porsche about spacers.

My friend has pretty beefy(around20mm) spacers to run with high offset track wheels, but it works really well with std 14" wheels aswell, when you have some negative camber. I can get some pics and spacer specifications if you want?

Now I have factory camber, but I want to install new Sachs shocks and lower car 20mm, then enlarge wheels with spacers, do you have some configurations ?

I searched through his car thread..

With 23mm Spacer

The spacers were originally made to run with these wheels for track use:

But they worked well with original wheel aswell, so they stayed on. The car got at bit more fun to drive aswell in the autocross and on twisty roads.

I like this configurazion, but the car seems too lowered for driving on road without problems?

How many mm this car is lower?

Wheels for track in photo are 13'' ?

My 931 was lower than his 924, but I got some damages on the exhaust down pipe from speed bumps etc, and the car was to low to go on the car lift for yearly inspection (MOT). So I raised it a bit due to practical reasons. Maybe its similar to his car today, works pretty well. I have no idea about how it is relativeto a standard car in mm, alot lower since the standard ride height is very high.

His wheels for track are 15", 7" wide, i think they are after market wheels for an Audi.

I want to lower only 20mm even because it's possibile to make this setting simply using eccentric bolt, leaving torsion bars in standard position.
