Are the accelerator (throttle) cables the same from a 944 ('83-'8 to a 924s?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/83-88-PORSCHE-944-N-A-INTAKE-THROTTLE-ACCELERATOR-CABLE-OEM-/391495612785?fits=Make%3APorsche%7CModel%3A944&hash=item5b26f4f971:g:3p8AAOSwRQlXc~Yt&vxp=mtr

Looks okay to me.

The 924S and at least 85 to 88 944 2.5s use the same part number (above).

Since we're on the subject, the early cables like the one you linked to have the adjustment nuts at the firewall, while the later ones like ours have the nuts at the throttle... both will work but I like the later cables better.

Also, the automatic cars have an entirely different cable with the transmission kick-down cable attached...

hope that helps!

This isn't right (from another thread, but fits better here).
