Question for those of you with much more historical knowledge than I have:
Was there ever a John Players special liveried 924/944?
I think there was a JPS 962, and a 911, but other than the one recent tribute car done by motor works, was it ever actually run as livery?
I want to re do my GTR, and the JPS livery is just flat out stunning, but I also want to keep it to something that was actually used on the cars in competition.
Then again, since my car is a Holbert tube chassis 924 GTR but with the motor replaces by a 3L, it isn't a "pure" car any more and I should just run livery that I think looks good.
Thoughts and comments?
Thanks,
Scott |

I think the green/gold spirit of Australia 924 gtr that raced on le mans have a really cool looking livery, could be an alternative _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

That is the motorworks racing tribute. Really, really pretty, and a very nice build, but not an actual period raced GTR.
It is what makes me think about changing. |

Here it is, the spirit of Australia. The jps is a bit to mainstream, it's everywhere

That is a great looking color scheme for sure.
Car looks like a cross between the SCCA D-Prod cars and the GTR. Really well done. _________________ Cheers;
