Gentlemen,

I really need your help.

My car running really rough when idling and I am think that my cam timing is off by about one or possibly two teeth. From what I can figure out it is a little late.

This is what I am seeing:

Flywheel

Pulley

Cam (Screwdriver is there for reference to correct paralax issues)

I replaced the timing belt recently, but I don't believe that I moved anything. The car ran rough before I did this too, but it did not move for 20 years.

I really hope that my rough running is as simple as advancing the cam timing slightly.

I am going out of my mind

Oh and it is an S2, euro spec with DITC

Correct the timing then do a compression test, that much timing error is unlikely to have bent anything.
