Our Pyrenees, Maximillian Maximus and Sophie, taking attendance as more enthusiasts arrive
The weather was great, about 72F with cloud cover most of the day, but the sun broke through just after lunch. Perfect temp, perfect breeze, and as perfect a day for an outdoor event as you could hope for!

And we had a great evening for a bonfire!

its appropriate that Dan ended with a pic of the huge bonfire.
This is what 92Forty did to me. It lit a fire
Thanks Dan and everyone else providing more wood to the 924 fire _________________ 1980 931 since 1989

It was a wonderful event! Dan and Deanna outdid themselves in the planning and execution of the celebration. Great people, cool cars and outstanding food.
My wife and I drove out to help Dan and left several days early, stopping by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland OH on the way. Most of the music is older than the forty year old cars we were to see but an enjoyable interlude.
I really enjoyed listening to and participating in the many technical conversations between the folks that were there and seeing the interesting modifications on more than a few of the vehicles. No one was a stranger for long. Good times.
Hats off to Dan and his fleet. All but one fired right up as we moved them from his shop to the front driveway. If only a few of mine would even turn over, I'd be happy. _________________ 1979 924 NA race car

Great cars, great people and great setup. My wife and I drove over 700 miles round trip. We had a wonderful time there and wished we could stay longer. I really wish I could have made it in my 924S but it is still a work in progress. My realistic goal is to have it on the road by spring. I am looking forward to your next event so I can drive my p-car to it. Thanks Dan _________________ 87 924S |

It's almost that time of year again, right? I just dug up this thread and was thinking about how much fun we had. _________________ 87 924S |

For September 2017, we will be reprising the big annual celebration we've done for the past two years. It will be more informal than last year's 92Forty event, but no less fun!!! Overnight guests are welcome to camp out on Friday and Saturday nights, but please contact me to confirm your plans.
We'll be having brats and Deanna's chili bar. Please plan to bring a dish or side to pass, along with your favorite beverage. A per-person donation of $10 would be appreciated (pay at the door) to help defray rental costs for chairs, food, supplies, and the commodes.
All car enthusiasts are welcome, but we'll reserve parking in the upper lot for our favorite marque!
