It seems to me these CIS pumps are capable of much more than most EFI pumps..

Thats a downgrade from your 40 years old pump original pump puts out about 6 bar and flows 300 L/h...even an old one should still do pretty similar...while that efi pump can only do 3bar and 195L/h but it will be sufficient for EFI.
Not everything new is "upgrade" also check if that new pump is ok with ethanol..normally it should be but check it for being safe.

I didn’t know the exact specs but yeah..
I think that spec is 300 L/H @ 6Bar and will do a good bit more than 6 Bar if asked to..

My pump has a lot of time on it at 7 bar and over, and I broke a 100psi gauge with it once accidentally deadheading it and I suspect it hit at least 13-14 bar to destroy my gauge like that..

http://convert-to.com/conversion/flow/convert-l-per-hr-flow-to-lb-per-hr-gasoline-flow.html

300 L/he = 489 lbs per hour =

According to this.. https://performancedevelopments.com/fuel-flow-calculations-for-horsepower/

A typical engine will make about 2 HP per lbs/H of gasoline so that’s almost 1,000 HP worth of fuel pump?

Idk about all that but yeah.. They are pretty good fuel pumps..

No need to upgrade the pump unless you go for a lot of power or E85 and want something that is certified to handle that.

The pump in your link was also an in tank pump, unless you want to do some serious mods to the fuel tank you want an in line pump. Not that common anymore.

https://www.finjector.com/eng/genuine_walbro_inline_fuel_pump_gsl392_flow_255_l_h_3_bar_fuel_connectors_thread_m10x1_suitable_assembly_kit_400_939-p-722757-326

What about this then, i consider a 40 year newer fuel pump upgrade.

Walbro makes nice fuel pumps, plenty of fuel capacity in that one. I got a walbro something in one of my 911s.

In my other 911 (EFI with ITBs ) I still use the original k-jet pump from 1977 with 270.000 km on it.
