Daft Question! Where is the inspection hole on the Flywheel housing? Trying to make sure everything is lined up for a timing belt change.
(on a 924 N\A). |

If you're referring to the window for identifying the flywheel timing mark, it's almost directly beneath the coil.
When I hear "inspection hole", I think of the clutch inspection window, which is accessed from under the car. But that could be a UK - US lingo mismatch. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

| You might want to verify that the #1 piston is on tdc also, the flywheel can be mounted in the improper orientation. |

Thanks very much for the help.
Yes, it was the fly wheel timing mark hole I was after, not the clutch one. I'm lining up the cam marks and crank marks on the top and bottom cogs the belt goes around. I just wanted to double check all the other marks as this is my first attempt at a cam belt. _________________ I Know the Voices aren't real, but boy! They come up with some good ideas! |
