Hi guys,

Some updates.

I had a lot of job with the seat. It was impossible for us to use a brand new bucket seat it would have been largely much easier but not correct concerning the look of the car.
Of course it's possible to buy a brand new Lollipop bucket $$$$ but i had the chance to have a barn find opportunity and i bought for a reasonable price this beauty ...

Of course it doesn't make you dream and i have to say someone were saying i was totally crazy to buy such a big sh*t

but after some hours of work it was beginning to look not so bad.

And after some hours of sewing machine it's going better and better.

Now i only have to tender and stick the cover to have a good finish.
During the same time, we have been progressing on the home made dashboard. So far from the nut-wood

Fuel circuit is now ready from the refueling plugs to the injectors connection ( so much pleasure with the dash joins to mount on hoses).

We have also mounted all the engine elements to validate that all is going in the good way and it's encouraging because at the moment everything is ok. We only have to paint some elements in black (coolers, air intake manifold ...) and change this blue hose for a black one (more historic).Next we'll can definitely assemble for the first ignition

To finish, the body is now nearly complete. Front side windows are on the car we only need to paint the window jamb in black. Small details, the wing front turn signals and doors mirrors are on

I hope you'll enjoy those news. I'll keep you posted "soon" ...

As always I'm totally impressed with your work and your progress Rom. I really enjoy seeing your updates!
Oh and in your second photo I see it looks like you have a little helper behind the seat !

Hello guys some news.

Not big visible modifications on the car but we're still progressing by doing the wiring of the engine of the dashboard, adding the wipper, fixing the seat and the wheel in the car.... and at last pose the car on its 4 wheels ! (I have to say that the rétromobile Paris Show was the trigger of this last step. To much beautiful cars on the floor see the samples in pictures Sorry for the quality only phone pictures ...)

Here the environement is not the same. Green floor with shavings and dust :S but this is the real life remember the garage of Teloche in Le Mans ...

we're proud of this resurrection !

Good to see it on the floor. Only waiting for the engine sound ... soon.

WOW, impressive eye candy and your car is looking fabulous. One of the best feelings in the world is getting a car back on the ground after so much work...and another is when that engine first roars to life and I bet you can hardly wait for that!!!

Thank you very much for your compliments.
It helps a lot for motivation. Objective is now to make the monster alive

To wait this step, see here a part of history in Porsche's hands. This is brilliant !

Yes you're right Tom everytime we're getting closer to the Le Mans car but last jobs to do seem to be the longest as we're so impatient to ear it

We'd have need a pro. as you to be faster.
